The CW has announced the fourth and final season of “Superman & Lois” will return on Thursday, October 17...and it will be with a two-hour premiere.

Superman Homepage reports...

the double-episode premiere of “Superman & Lois” will pickup where the Season 3 finale left off, with Superman in a fight to the death with Doomsday.

After that, eight more episodes will air before the end.
And...Superman will be on a SUPERStation. Namely Chicago's WGN-TV Channel 9 which on 9/1/2024, reaffiliated with the CW after 8 years of it being an independent. The CW was on WCIU-TV Channel 26. But WGN-TV is owned by Nexstar, which means like WPIX NYC KTLA LA, it becomes a CW "owned" station.

WCIU-TV, Chicago's Independent UHF goes back to being an independent station under that totally Chicago nickname...THE "U"
