According to Superman Homepage...

The CW has today announced that the upcoming fourth season of the TV series “Superman & Lois” will be the show’s last.

Brad Schwartz, president of entertainment at The CW, said

“Over the last three seasons, Superman & Lois redefined both the superhero genre and family drama as Tyler, Elizabeth and the entire cast effortlessly portrayed these classic characters with new layers of depth and complexity that had never before been explored in the Superman universe, We are grateful for the years of hard work and graceful storytelling from the show’s writers, producers, actors and crew, as well as our terrific partners at Warner Bros. Television and Berlanti Productions. As Superman embarks on his final flight, the team is leaving us with an absolutely epic 10-episode must-watch-every-minute farewell to one of the most legendary CW families ever.”

Sometime next year is when the last 10 episodes will air. After that, an era in the CW's tumultuous life financially, will end. In 2012 the Berlantiverse/Arrowverse began with Arrow, then The Flash. CBS had Supergirl for one season in 2015 before going to the CW for the next five. Then Legends of Tomorrow, followed by some also rans like Black Lightning, Batwoman (WokeWoman if you ask me!!!!!), Naomi (???), the brilliant but way too early cancelled Stargirl, then Titans.

This will also continue the change in programming at the CW...which includes sporting events like LIV Golf and even college football. This is all in part because the CW is owned now by Nexstar...which owns flagships WPIX NYC and KTLA Los Angeles and the CW has changed affiliates in major markets...Philly for example, WPSG is now an independent as Philly 57 while WPHL, which was a WB affiliate is now CW 17. Also in Atlanta, another 17, WPCH-TV (formerly Superstation WTBS) is a CW station while WUPA goes indie as Atlanta 69. Tampa Bay, FLA has CW on WTTA 38 (Nexstar-owned) taking over from WTOG Tampa Bay 44.
