Head On Recap

Arrowverse royalty yet again tonight! David Ramsey aka Diggle from Arrow is back tonight to direct Superman and Lois! It's unclear if Diggle appears but just having him on set has that Arrowverse vibe. If you're like us, our social media was flooded by Superman and Lois clips this week. A very specific scene in fact, and as our user vantheman77 said, the diner scene stole the episode! Of course, now we are very curious, what does the Kent family dynamic change to now that Jonathan's girlfriend is living on the farm! The Kents are a generous family but with Lois being sick and Clark and Jordan having to hide their secret, this is going to get tricky, here's what stood out to us:

  1. Treatment in Hob's Bay: It's time for the Smallville Valentine's Day dance. Lois is going to get treatment in Hob's Bay to keep an eye on Mannheim. Sam isn't happy about this change in venue but Clark tells him he's just got to deal with it. Lana sits for lunch for Sarah. Junior, the ex-mayor's son confronts Lana at the diner. Natalie and Sam spend quality time together four-wheeling in the field. Lois begins to investigate and tells Clark to stand down. Mannheim preps another ex-convict to go after someone, maybe Lois?
  2. Natalie's Admirer: Sam is concerned about Natalie's new love interest. Natalie ends up asking him to the Valentines dance. Two patients befriend Clark and shine light on the spousal grief he is going through. Jonathan pulls over to help Kyle in his broken down truck. Kyle offers Jon a job to work at the firestation on the weekends. Crissy meets with Lana and offers to help run a story on the old mayor to get some heat off of her. Lois breaks into a nurse's office only to be found by Mannheim!
  3. Mannheim Encountered: Lois accuses Mannheim of what he's doing. Mannheim returns with showing off his state-of-the-art research facility. Natalie arrives at the dance. Clark hears more from the cancer patients about what they are going through. Jon learns that his girlfriend found a place to stay but it's four hours away. Mannheim gets the upper hand on Lois with the cancer research center.
  4. Valentine's Day Dance: Lois and Clark get back and head to the dance. Natalie feels so far behind in dating, she's never had her first kiss. Sam goes to comfort her. Jonathan and Candice admit they love each other despite their tough predicament. Kyle and Chrissy share a dance on the dance floor livening up the whole party. At the D.O.D. the villain that can pass through walls breaks in.
  5. Department of Defense Break In: Superman arrives at the D.O.D. to see the phasing villain stealing secrets from the mainframe. Superman is having trouble stopping him because he can't hit him. Using the power clap move, he is able to trap the guy into the wall but the data has already been transferred. Natalie goes back into the dance to be with her new crush. Lana catches Sarah drinking. Lana assumes it was all evening but Sarah was just trying to be nice to Junior. Lois and Clark end up not going to the dance.

In the final wrap up moments of the show, with the dance over, the kids reveal they didn't get photos. Clark turns on music and they share a dance together. Jordan sets up Sam with a dating app. Kyle and Chrissy seem to be starting a relationship. Lana and Chrissy meet and Lana decides not to run the story that will clear her name. Jonathan prepares to drive Candice to her new home four hours away as the Kents say goodbye. Check out a trailer for the next all new episode in two weeks below:

Thanks for the acknowledgement.

Deadline is a villain from the comics. An evil Batman if you will as this will likely be the closest thing to Superman Vs. Batman.

The ending we didn’t see coming and I’ve heard theories involving Doomsday.
