It's no surprise to us, he's Superman, he needs a super-sized premiere! The CW has just confirmed that the premiere of Superman and Lois will now actually be 90 minutes long! To round out the 2 hour event a special 30 minute "Legacy of Hope" companion will also air making the event a two hour Superman and Lois premiere! This change in the schedule does bump The Flash premier into March but Superman and Lois fans can look forward to two hour event nonetheless! The CW has released this synopsis for the Legacy of Hope:

Immediately following the series premiere of SUPERMAN & LOIS, The CW takes fan behind the scenes with the brand new special SUPERMAN & LOIS: LEGACY OF HOPE, with sneak peeks and interviews from the cast of the new series, plus special guests discussing the legacy of the Man of Steel.
