It's up up and away for Superman and Lois! The CW wasted no time in seeing how successful Superman and Lois is across multiple platforms to view and has renewed the series for a second season! Recently we noted that with only one episode available, Superman and Lois became the fifth post streamed show on the Network's streaming service. That is a lot of stream when you consider that it's only one episode verses seasons of other shows! This level of success and general love for the show from the fans basically meant there was no way not to renew the groundbreaking series. The CW president Mark Pedowitz offered this statement after renewing the show:
The phenomenal multiplatform debut of Superman & Lois, which delivered for us in a big way on both a linear and streaming basis, is a testament to the creativity, hard work and dedication of the talented people who worked tirelessly in front of and behind the camera, especially in this challenging environment. We are thrilled to now have two brand-new bona fide hits in Superman & Lois and Walker, both of which have been renewed for next season along with 11 other of our shows, further positioning us for continued strength and stability for next season.
