The Best of Smallville Episode Synopsis

The primetime listings for March 21st have come out and of course, Superman and Lois was on the list! This will mark the fifth straight episode without interruption or Hiatus. March 23rd will host "The Best of Smallville" at 9:00pm. Not to be confused with The CW's show Smallville, this is merely an episode title for Superman and Lois. Quick note, Superman and Lois' "Heritage", the second episode of the series, was the first to best The Flash's season opener and the first in a while to have a 9pm time slot outperform a 8pm time slot. Looking ahead to the episode, Clark learns a lesson that helps him move on from his mother's death. We think this is quite timely because if you remeber it hasn't been very long since her passing and Clark hasn't dealt with it yet. Of course there's a whole lot more than that, check out the full synopsis below:

HOME – As Smallville celebrates its first Harvest Festival since Martha’s passing, Clark (Tyler Hoechlin) is reminded what his mother meant to him and learns a lesson that will help him move past her death. Meanwhile, Lois (Elizabeth Tulloch) makes a breakthrough in the investigation of Morgan Edge (Adam Rayner). Lastly, Kyle (Erik Valdez) tries to reconnect with Lana (Emmanuelle Chriqui), but it seems like he might be falling back into his old ways. Dylan Walsh, Jordan Elsass and Alex Garfin also star. (#105). The episode was directed by Rachel Talalay with story by Todd Helbing and teleplay by Brent Fletcher and Nadria Tucker.

Actually, Smallville began on the late WB Network in 2001 (20 years ago!) After its fifth season, The WB and United Paramount Network (UPN, seen here on WWOR-TV channel 9) merged to form The CW. WPIX Channel 11 has been a part of both WB and CW since 1995 when their independent streak, dating back to 1948 ended.

Quoting Superman-and-Lois-Admin:
Quoting CatPat:
Will this episode still air on 3/23? Another site reports episode 4 (3/16) will be the last before the series goes on hiatus?

That is incorrect, according to the official air date listings we get from The CW, Haywire episode 4 will air 3/16 and The Best of Smallville episode 5, will air 3/23

Thanks that's the answer I wanted!

That's great we are getting 5 in a row without interruptions. CW has repeats all over this week.
